It has been said by some historians that no revolution had a greater impact on society than the Industrial Revolution. You can agree or disagree with this statement, but back it up with at least 3 valid reasons.
i agree that the industrial revolution had the most impact on society because The Industrial Revolution made machine manufacturing more common, grew the population and increased income of the average home.
I agree with the statement that the Industrial Revolution had the biggest impact on society. This is because without the revolution, the life expectancy was 25-35 years old, children often died before the age of 9, 20% of the population was starving, children were considered a burden, you worked to survive until you died, etc. However, after the Industrialization, life expectancy was about 80 years old, the death rate of children was 7 in 1000, everyone was aloud to get an education, slavery was illegal, you would work for luxury & needs until you retired, etc. The Industrial Revolution has given us many benefits, and for that we should be/are grateful. I agree that the industrial revolution had the biggest impact on society. If we didn't have the industrial revolution 80% of the population would have a career in farming. There wouldn't be as many doctors, lawyers, teacher etc. most people would be farmers. Another big impact the industrial revolution had was the production of textiles. Without this most people would only have maybe 2-3 outfits and would wash your clothes once a year if you lived by the river. As a result, we would not numerous clothing stores that we have today and the clothing industry wouldn't have a such a big impact. Also back before the industrial revolution most people didn't have an education, it was for the privileged children. Most children stayed on the farm and helped their families otherwise there family would most likely starve. Now education is compulsory and children have to go to school. Without people going to school most of the careers would be in agriculture and we wouldn't have a lot of the smart people we have today or the numerous career options. Therefore if the industrial revolution had not happened, we wouldn't have most of the things we have today and in my opinion it's the revolution that had the greatest impact on society.
